Management Approach

We are routinely asked “how will you do things?”This question comes up from our shareholders, our bankers, and especially from our potential employees and business associates. The senior management of Dewpoint Environmental uses a simple 4 step test to make any and all critical decisions and to develop solutions for any problems we encounter along the way to building our company. That simple four part test is shown below. We hope this helps you to understand not only our management approach, but our business philosophy as well. We are always looking for those who share our approach to business.
Will this solution or the implementation of this plan improve the level of service to our customers? At the very least, will it maintain the current level of service? (If the answer is clearly a yes, then proceed to the next question. If the answer is no or not clearly a yes, stop and keep looking for a solution or a different plan.)
Will this solution or the implementation of this plan improve the quality of life for our employees? At the very least, will it maintain the current level of the quality of life of our employees? (If the answer is clearly a yes, then proceed to the next question. If the answer is no or not clearly a yes, stop and keep looking for a solution or a different plan.)
Will this solution or the implementation of this plan benefit the shareholders of the company and will it enhance the return on their investment within a reasonable period of time? At the very least, will it maintain the current return on their investment? (If the answer is clearly a yes, then proceed to the next question. If the answer is no or not clearly a yes, stop and keep looking for a solution or a different plan.)
And finally, if the details of this solution or plan were printed on the front page of your local Sunday newspaper, would you be proud to have your Mom or Dad or spouse or children or siblings read it? (If the answer is clearly a yes, then send your plan or idea or solution up the line for implementation planning. If the answer is no or not clearly a yes, stop and keep looking for a solution or a different plan.)
If the answer to the four questions above is a yes, then the only thing you need to discuss with supervisors or senior management is the timing of the implementation to ensure that any necessary capital is available and proper communication is made to all those to be effected by the solution or plan. Welcome to the Dewpoint way.
We are always looking for those who share our approach to business.
